Fun on the allotment.

I'm a student, chef, gardner, photographer and general procrastinator. On the 5th November 2011 I inherited an old battered allotmentand started this blog so people can watch as I work and play to make it my dream larder.
Hayley helping me sow my pea and bean seeds (pods).

Got a good mix of coloured climbing French beans, runner beans and ‘mystery’ beans. All where gave to me from other plot owners, so they’re a bit of an unknown quantity. I kind of like the ‘random’ factor from it though. I’ll keep more pods from the ones I like best to re-grow next year.

Got a late frost on the way right now in northern England, so it’s good I’ve only just put them in as they’ll hopefully not germinate till after it’s warmed up again.
